I love this simple chocolate syrup it works so well for all occasions – warm milk, hot chocolate, drizzle over vanilla ice cream, brownies, pancakes, waffles, and more.  You get the idea, it is extremely versatile and absolutely delicious.

Delicious and nutrient-dense recipes don’t get much easier than this.

Recipe Simple Chocolate Sauce

Simply Chocolate Syrup

A delicious and nutrient-dense sauce, perfect for all occasions.

  • ¾ cup pure maple syrup
  • 6 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  1. In a small bowl whisk together the maple syrup, cocoa, and vanilla extract until it forms a sauce or syrup-like consistency without any lumps. Keep in mind that it can take several minutes to come together.

  2. Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week. Remember to stir before each use.
