It is that time of the year again, where sickness abounds for many.  So what do you do when you are starting to feel sick? We make this wellness shot: the juiced orange gives you a boost of Vitamin C, while turmeric and coconut oil are great for inflammation, fresh ginger is fantastic for fighting nausea, and the cayenne pepper helps with clearing you out.

Wellness Shot

The perfect wellness and immune-boosting shot to support health and healing.

  • 1 orange, peeled + seeded
  • 1 -inch turmeric, peeled
  • 1 -inch ginger, peeled
  • pinch of black pepper
  • pinch of cayenne
  • ½ tsp organic coconut oil
  1. Place all the ingredients into a blender, and blend to a puree.  Pour through cheesecloth – alternatively use a very fine strainer.  Serve immediately.
