Honestly, my family can probably live off of hummus! It is such a great nutrient-dense add-on that pretty much goes with anything – crackers, vegetables, on sourdough, with meat, on top of a bowl – really the possibilities are endless.
It is a super easy and fast dip to make using minimal ingredients.
My kids are obsessed and will eat it by the spoonful.
Our favorite way to eat this simple classic hummus is in a bowl – we either make fresh roasted veggies and meat for dinner, or sometimes we use all the leftovers in the fridge to make a bowl, and top it with hummus.
My husband is convinced that hummus makes everything better!
Happy eating!
♦ We only eat (and I recommend) soaked beans because they are easier to digest.
