After getting so many questions about how we are deworming our sweet Millie cat over on Instagram, I decided to share what we are doing in a little more detail here.

I have become quite fascinated with parasites and how they relate to so many health conditions, and the fact that we all have them, that is has sent me on this whole journey of doing a parasite protocol with our whole family – Millie included.

The fact of the matter is – we all pass parasites back and forth to each other in the same household (this includes pets) and it is just beneficial to include your furry friend in your cleanse.

You can learn more about parasites here.

A Simple Parasite Protocol For Your Furry Friends 1

Pets have many of the same parasites that humans get and should be deparasitized routinely.  You can of course go to the vet, but if I personally don’t want to take a bunch of synthetic pharmaceuticals, why would I give it to my cat?  I also want to be clear that you don’t need to get rid of your furry friend in order to rid yourself of parasites.

Our cat is a huge part of our family and I believe she should be kept as clean and healthy as the rest of us – and it really isn’t that hard to achieve.

We simply followed Dr. Hulda Clark’s pet parasite program.

What you will need for a pet parasite protocol.

Parsley water
Simply cook a big bunch of fresh organic parsley in a quart of filtered water for 3 minutes.  Throw away the parsley, and cool the parsley water.  Ince cooled you can freeze the parsley water in several glass 1 cup containers.  This makes a month’s supply.

The purpose of the parsley water is to support the kidneys, and ensuring that they are flowing well, this will be very helpful to eliminate parasite refuse promptly.

Simply add 1 teaspoon of parsley water to your pet’s food – you don’t have to watch it all go down, whatever amount they eat is fine.

Do this for one week before adding the black walnut tincture.

Black walnut tincture.
The dosage is based on a 10-pound cat or dog, so do the math for the weight of your furry friend.

Simply add 1 drop of the tincture to your pet’s food (don’t use extra strength.)  You don’t have to force your pet to eat it.  Treat cats 2x a week, and dogs every day.

If your pet vomits or has diarrhea you may expect to see worms.  Be careful when cleaning up your pet’s mess – Dr. Clark recommends using salt and iodine on the mess and letting it sit for 5 minutes – clean up the mess and then use vodka to clean your hands and wipe down the area.

Do this for one week before adding in the wormwood capsules or powder.

Wormwood capsules or powder.
100-300 mg of wormwood per capsule

Simply open the capsule or use a powder, and sprinkle the smallest amount possible over your pet’s dry food.

Do this for one week before adding in the clove capsules or powder.

Simply open the capsule or use a powder, and sprinkle the smallest amount possible over your pet’s dry food.

Make this a part of your routine and go slowly so your pet gently learns to eat it all.

Stay on the week 4 rotation as needed, or repeat the protocol as needed.
